"The cute act is sure fooling me," Leah said, smiling at Claire. "You wanna see Uncle Jake?" She said in a baby voice. She ignored Jacob and walked over to him, holding Claire in front of him.

Emily was sitting at the kitchen table, enjoying the rare moment alone. She had a book open and was reading while she waited for Sam to get back. As she read, she chewed on a lock of her hair, which for some reason reminded her of Leah. Emily was worried about her cousin, even though Leah had assured her many times that she was fine.

Leah glared at Sam. She was hoping to get a reaction from him, perhaps see a glimpse of the old Sam. But, of course, nothing. "Yeah," she said to Sam. "Run home to your precious little imprint." She ignored Quil as he walked up to Jacob.

"You are supposed to read my MIND. OF COURSE i am happy, duh." He said rolling his eyes, he took personal offence to that. Then he looked at leah and back at sam, "Jelous much?"

Sam

"so then are you not happy?" He gave jacob a look as if to say "she is nice you should be happy."

Jacob

Jacob raised his eyebrows and then thought about that for a moment and burst out laughing he was probobly happy Leah wouldnt be mad anymore, but she would be MADDER mostly likely. Those looks of rudeness and betraile to "look who you could have been." looks. He shrugged, " 'Suppose."

Sam


"No it's nice you look happy" he said smiling now

Sam looked at leah and jacob. why was leah staring at him so intensly? "so then you two are together then?" he asked amused.

Leah shuffled her feet, still wanting to know how Sam was going to react to this. Her eyes flashed back to Jacob before going back to staring at Sam. She took Jacob's hand in her own and squeezed it.
